Welcome to Riverside Writers!
Club Mission
The mission of this organization, an established non-profit entity, is to celebrate the art and craft of writing by offering writers opportunities for personal and professional interaction with other writers; strengthening skills in the art, craft and business of writing; and advocating the literary arts in the broader local community.
Club Activities
The club offers workshops, panel discussions, camaraderie and expert speakers.

We meet from 1 pm to 3 pm on the second Saturday of each month.
Participation is also available online* However we need someone to volunteer to do this on Webex, Google meet or Zoom you will need to bring your laptop
Foundation:
Riverside Writers was formed in Spotsylvania, Virginia, and became a chapter of the Virginia Writers Club (VWC), the statewide parent organization established in 1918. Riverside Writers is one of ten chapters of the VWC, and geographically encompasses the City of Fredericksburg, the counties of Caroline, King George, Louisa, Spotsylvania, and Stafford, and portions of the adjacent areas.
Associated:
Additionally, Riverside Writers is associated with the Poetry Society of Virginia (PSV). However, both the VWC and the PSV are separate organizations, each with their own applications and dues. Membership in these literary organizations is optional and separate from Riverside Writers.

Club Dues may be paid directly to the treasurer and (Checks should be made payable to Riverside Writers)
Pay at the monthly meeting, or mail a check or money order for the per annum membership
in the amount of $20 per year (no cash please), along with your application, to:
